Southern Vermont Fly Fishing

The fly fishing for trout in southern Vermont is very good....The following bugs are hatching and are important to imitate: Tan Caddis sz 16, Blue winged olives in a small 16 or a large 18, dun caddis on the upper kill and little green stones on Farmland brook....the summertime ant and beetle patterns still remain extremely effective. I am running either half or three quarter days in the morning. This time of the year I am balancing between fly fishing river for trout and spin fishing lakes for bass and pike. Thanks for the view and don't forget the spin fishing and bird hunting blogs too.
